Highlight of the year: Berlin 6G Conference 2025

The yearly 6G conference in Berlin features the presentation of the results of the German 6G research program funded by BMFTR.
This year, over 900 participants discussed at the booths of the various project as well as the conference programm with numerous expert speakers. The conference was opened by the BMFTR and top level industry representatives presented their view on future 6G in various keynotes. In addition a conference program with up to 8 parallel streams was offered. The 6GEM partners presented key results of 6G research in several interactive demonstrations on future 6G applications in the area of teleoperation, rescue robotics, production and logistics. In addition, the PIs of the project were involved in various sessions: Prof. Sezgin and Prof. Wietfeld participated in panel discussions on 6G intelligent reflective surfaces. Prof. Gacanin moderated panels on topics such as the integration of AI into communication systems and future research collaboration between Germany and Japan.
